Hi This is my first ever post on forum, so please excuse all mistakes/whatever I have a similar problem: During cleaning up my friends computer one of the viruses damaged winlogon.exe or/and different vital windows files. Of I go, Recovery console... First problem - R. Console can't see the hard disk. I've spent five days trying to resolve the problem. Done loads of xp cd with integrated drivers, learnt a lot but... nothing worked. Notebook: Amilo Pi 1505 SATA hard drive : Fujitsu MHV2100BH I'm getting confused, what chipset is this notebook running on, some say Via, some Intel This is my second problem - can't work out what chipset is it. Is there a way to find out the chipset model/version under bios? THIS IS WHAT I SEE...
