I'm having the exact some problem. I'm trying to add SATA drivers for the HP Pavilion dv2500t to a reinstallation CD version of XP Home SP2. While running nlite 1.4b, I also get the registry key complaint and when I try to create the ISO (or burn a CD directly), it hangs while "preparing". Could it be the fact that I'm using a reinstallation CD? Mind you, this isn't a "recovery" CD -- it's a single disk with a complete copy of the XP installation files.
