To fix it do the following: create text file on your desktop open the file and paste the following text: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\{00020D75-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}] @="3" "InfoTip"="Displays your e-mail, calendar, contacts, and other important personal information." @="Microsoft Outlook" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{00020D75-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\DefaultIcon] @="C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft Office\\OFFICE11\\OUTLOOK.EXE,7" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{00020D75-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\InprocServer32] "ThreadingModel"="Apartment" @="C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft Office\\OFFICE11\\mlshext.dll" then close it and rename it to: yourfile.reg and then double click on it and just click yes on all the messages then go back to the desktop press "F5" and then your outlook icon should appear and shuold be funtional.( right clicking)
