  2. Hey Everyone! I'm new here, so, hi! I need some help, and hopefully you all can help me out. I just built myself a computer, and bought Windows MCE to load on it. (I work with Adobe After Effects, and that doesn't run on vista, so I decided to stick with XP) When the os came in, it came with three disks, Two os disks and a 2005 update disk. Everything's cool so far. Now, when I load Media Center, it will get almost all the way through the installation process, then prompt me for a windows SP2 disk. I didn't get one with the software, so I got on my old computer and downloaded SP2 and burnt it to disk. My new computer didn't like it. So, I called around and borrowed a genuine SP2 disk from one of my dad's co-workers. It doesn't like that either. What's happening here? BTW, it's looking for IEXPLORER.EXE... If I skip that step, the os loads, and runs. So my next thought was, "I'll just download the SP2 when I get online." No can do! I can't install anything on my computer, because windows installer doesn't work. So my wireless card driver, my motherboard drivers, 2005 os update disk, and everything else is useless. Also the interface looks like windows 2000. Please help me! I am at a loss here. It might help if I tell you what hardware I'm running. Let's see. I have an AMD X2 4000, 2 gig of RAM A 320 gig SATA hard drive. And a Biostar tf7025-m2 motherboard. If you need any more info, let me know. Thanks in advance! Yohan
