Hey fella.. have the same problem myself. I am working within large corporate environment. If another user with ACCESS logs on to my machine, they do not have the problem. They log off, I log on, I have it back again. I have been unable to create reports for 6 days, then this morning, I can! Same PC, Same Profile. I feel this is a Logon process. Perhaps one of the Backup Domain controllers is applying too many permissions to my account. This would account for problem dissappearing and re-appearing. I have had my profile re-created, and problem dissappeared, but it came back a few days later. (Logon scripts again the guilty party??) so no help really. I think it might be permissions to a DLL that creates and edits report objects? Hope this might help.
