Can't believe I was doing that think I am having a bad day thanks DiGGiTY

When I type ipconfig in the cmd prompt box and hit enter the window opens for a split second then disappears. I have just done a clean install with Service pack 2 and the only thing I have done was to uninstall windows messenger. Can any of you nice folk help with this I do use this ipconfig quiet a bit for checking my IP.

Thanks for the reply guys and yes I am using XP Pro but checked my reg and can not see msconfig in the folder suggested so I presume I must have uninstalled it. Funny also my windows help menu does not work aswell comes up with the same error. If I do a search for msconfig it finds it and have now created a short cut to my desktop, so it is there but cant seem to get it from my run cmd. Will try to resolve it from my XP Disc. Any more help would be apprecisted, Dave.

Hi can anybody help, I was trying to open msconfig (start/run/) but it comes up with a error windows cannot find "msconfig" try searching for it. Any help would be gladly appreciated and sorry if this is a basic question.
