ohhhh the winnt.sif was the problem. I have forget to switch the OemPreinstall from no to yes. Now I have tried it again and it works finde. Thanks for help.

hello, i have a big problem and i don't know why. I have a windows xp cd without any servicepacks. Also the first version. Then i have slipstreamed sp1 at first and sp2 at second. The following structure of my folders are: - WINXP_CD_ROOT ->$OEM$ ->$OEM$->$1 ->$OEM$->$1->Install but when i tried the Setup, the cmdlines in the $1 Folder execute in the T-12 step. But the other Folders will not copie to the hdd. I have no Folder "Install" on my drive after the installation process. Where is the problem ? I have also styles in $$->Resources->Themes but also this folder will not copied to the hdd. Can anyone help me to solve the problem.

can nobody help me ? what i will is which files etc. must i copy from the winxp installation to a cd with the xp bootloader to run it from the cd ? thanks.

hy, ok its a long time ago but now im back. i will make my own operation system (ok i know i cant say its my own) based on windows pe. what i mean is not devloping an system, i will use windows pe and write programs for it like my own gui. i think the windows pe has no winxp gui right ? in a little form: i will make something like barts pe but how ? he is extract something from the windows xp cd etc. my idea: copy the needed winxp files to a cd. then burn the cd with the winxp boot image. will it run or not ? or have someone ideas how can i make a cd like bart pe ? thanks.

hello, i have download from the inet a very cool mmsstyle file. its only this one file !!! now i will it intergrating in the winxp unattended setup so that after the last setup step windows came up in my very cool look. can someone say how can i intergrate this ? by problems i can also overwrite the original style becaus of ther is no other way. thanks. mfg Oggi
