I had to do the same with mine, if you added the drivers correctly it will detect it without hitting F6. Hope that helps some if any. If anyone wants to help me read my post please and give any advice.

I used nlite to create a disk for my HP nc8430 , because of having to have the sata drivers for the install. Ive created a handfull of disks and have ran into the problem first of all geting a dw20.exe error, then created another disk, performed a repair install overtop that one and now windows will not update. It did however fix the issue with the dw20.exe. Any ideas, Im at my wits end. ~nayR
