  1. Is there a GPO somewhere that can control this service in TCP/IP ? I have some notebooks from manufacturer where this service is turned off by default. This causes the machine to fail in domain environment.
  2. For problem 1, you may want to start by looking at any firewall on your machines, be it the XP SP2 firewall or your antivirus programs. For problem 2, if you are using the same account to login, I am not sure if there is a way to RDP without logging out another user. Perhaps you can consider using Remote Assistance.
  3. Don't see anything wrong with the 3rd connection in eventviewer. Have tried out the mapping in XP rather than the login script. Hopefully this will help ease the situation.
  4. The mapping is done through the network login script. Do you think I need to manually map the drive too ? Other drive seems OK though.
  5. I have 3 network drives enabled for offline access. Whenever I go offline, 2 of them show up under My computer. The third one is always missing, however, if I go to My network places \\server\share, it is there and I can access the offline files. Any one have a clue ? I am open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance.
