I am a 70 year old new surfer on a steep learning curve my HDD gave up on me , I had to buy a new one. having loaded all my software, I found I could not access my hot mail as I had no desktop icon to click on. I did manage to retrieve my hotmail through my browser but cannot find a way to get the desktop icon back. I thought if I updated to the latest msn that would fix it , but when I tried to install it, I had two error messages. 1. "the ordinal 730 could not be located in the dynamic link library SHELL32.dll. 2.bootstrap.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. I wonder if anyone could help a puzzled oldun. smudge
