  1. WinPE Windows 2003 Setup Copies Files Twice?

    verb` posted a topic in Windows PE
    Hello, I'm launching a Windows 2003 setup from within Windows PE. When setup runs inside WinPE, it appears to copies files from the CD to the local HD. However when it reboots and setup is running in text mode, it copies files again. Is this normal, or do I have a switch set wrong somewhere? Any suggestions? Thanks, Tim

  2. Install From Usb Hard Drive

    Is it possible to install Windows XP from a USB hard drive? From what I can gather, I wouldnt be able to boot from the hard drive and install, but can I boot from a cdrom (say barts for example) and kick off the installation, using the usb hard drive as my source? Tim
