When I startup my computer all desktop icons revert back to the left side of my desktop. I do not have auto-arrange checked under properties. Any Ideas how to fix this so that when you start up the computer the icons stay where you put them. Thanks!

When I empty my recycle bin the icon disappears. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks

Hi, I have began to use Vista and came across a problem. When I have files on the desktop and close out of a file, like MS Word. The file icon reverts back to the left side of my desktop, the file icon was originally at a different location on my desktop. The same thing happens upon windows startup every time I turn my computer on. I do not have the "auto arrange" checked under desktop properties. Please help. Thanks!
