  1. I have Outlook 2007 configured to access 3 of my AOL accounts and have had no problems until recently. A week or so ago I started getting a pop-up window error message when I launch Outlook which says the following: Internet Security Warning ! The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that cannot be verified. The target principal name is incorrect. (button available here to VIEW CERTIFICATE) Do you want to continue using this server? (buttons available here for YES and NO) If I answer yes it continues on and allows me access to my Outlook folders which are linked to my AOL accounts. I can send and receive email to these accounts, but Outlook has been freezing up intermittently and eventually errors out and has to be closed (losing any emails that I was writing). This started happening about the same time as the server certificate problem best I can tell, and there is no other reason why I should be having any such problems with Outlook. When I click on the VIEW CERTIFICATE button it opens a window which has 3 tabs: GENERAL, DETAILS, & CERTIFICATE PATH. Everything looks fine in all 3 tabs best I can tell, except for the CERTIFICATE PATH tab which only has the following text in the "Certification Path": IMAP.MAIL.AOL.COM. Further down on this tab the "Certificate Status" says "The issuer of this certificate could not be found." Nothing has changed with my Outlook configuration, and as I said, I can still send and receive email from my AOL accounts through Outlook if I click YES to question it presents, except that Outlook is freeezing up and erroring out intermittently. I can find no way to update this certificate, and I don't want to have to start from scratch and completely reconfigure all of my AOL accounts with Outlook, it's a pain in the butt, not to mention I don't even know if that would resolve the problem Help?
