    shark, i removed all the codec packs, then installed your codec pack, restarted the system. But it's still the same. I don't know y. where am i wrong or is it something else?

    Thanks for this wonderful thread shark. I too had the same problem. I downloaded the codec pack, set the MPEG1 option to DISABLE, but windows media player still gives the same error. Any other way to get rid of it ???????? Thanks
