Well, I integrated all the updates including the peformance and compability ones with v1.1. I did this before the bunch of August ones came out. Anyway, when I integrated them, I didn't put them in order of when it was released. However, I didn't get any error messages during the slipstreaming process. Now, I have all my software installed and don't want to have to reinstall. 3 of the new August updates won't install. Also, I noticed that the file versions of the performance and compatibility didn't match the ones found on MS's website. I tried to see if the other updates were properly installed, but couldn't find file version information about them. Is there a way to check if all the updates were properly installed?

After using the RC, I found out that the Multimedia Class Scheduler service is important. I got rid of it and sounds became very choppy. Anytime I try listening to music, it would crackle when I'm doing anything, even surfing the web. I also found cpu usage to spike all over the place while listening to music. After I reinstalled, everything was back to normal. I just thought you should put a warning on it.

I have a new Lenovo laptop and want to do a vLited install. There's a lot of drivers I would like to integrate. For example, the acpi (link).

I want to integrate drivers into my ultimate x64. The driver supports both 32 bit and 64 bit. My question is, during the installation process, will it only install the 64 bit drivers or will it install the 32 bit drivers as well?

I tried that but the iso file turned out to be only 100 MB. It only imaged a small portion of the files in the folder.

I solved the problem. It turned out that I didn't have Photo Gallery. I had kept Photo Viewer. Now that I kept Photo Gallery, my scanner works now. Thanks for the help.

After I vLited Vista, I want to add a folder with all the software that I have to install to the DVD. How do you add files to it and still make it bootable?

I kept Photo Gallery. I'm pretty sure I kept the Slide show thing too. Also, I do have Phones and Modems in my control panel.

I got rid of AE and kept WMP and the codecs. I'm guessing that's the problem. I'll report back whether it worked in a few days when I get the time to reinstall it. Thanks for the help.

I used vLite on 32 bit Ultimate edition and the scanner won't work. I did not get rid of WIA. The service is running. However, I have nowhere to install scanners. It doesn't appear in control panel. I tried installing drivers from the CD that came with scanner. It gave an error during the install process. I did choose to get rid of the scanner drivers though. I'm not sure if that was the cause. The scanner is an HP c4280. It's actually an all-in-one. The printer works perfectly fine.
