Hi, Starting server AND workstation did the trick! I can map network drives. And was able the share a folder. BUT now.. this means the services were not starting automatically.???? How do I force the service to start? I assume I'll have this problem again?? Have not configured any services. Thanks for the help BL

Running just two PCs, both with Media Edition, SP2, Both have file and print sharing, Client for MS networks,tcp/ip enabled. With the ‘new’ one, I can ping the other PC but cannot map a drive to A shared folder. I get the error: ‘Drive could not be mapped because no network was found’ The other error I get is trying to share folders on the ‘new’ PC. I get the error: An error occurred while trying to share documents. The server service was not started. The shared resource was not created At this time. So, I went to services and started 'server service' I got the same error again, when trying to share a folder. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks, B.Leonard
