For now, try installing this for audio, it should work okay. So what does it tell you when you try to install the latest Nvidia drivers? it says something mean like cant find the device ill try the sound driver when i get the graphics one dude

Got this lappy the other day but it came with vista installed i installed XP ok downloaded all the xp drivers off of toshiba but couldnt get the sound and gfx drivers to work ive tryed nvidia for the gfx driver but still wont install and tryed leadtek for the sound but when it installs i still have no sound. Mobo - ASRAA Chipset - INTEL PM/GM965 Bus Type - PCI (V3.00) + PCI EXPRESS Cpu - INTEL CORE DUO T7500

Laptop i have is a Toshiba Satellite X200/219 the drivers i need are the graphics and sound my graphics card is a nvidia 8600M GT and the sound is Realtek cpu is intel.If u can help ill apreciate it i really want xp on the lappy.I did try nvidia site but when i installed the driver it said it couldnt find compatible hardware and the sound driver i got off Toshiba site installed but didnt make the sound work

Thanks did sort it in the end got the drivers from intel but couldnt get a graphics and sound driver for the lappy so now im using vista again

Hi dudes just got a new lappy and yes vista on it this lappy has 2 hard drives so i want to install xp on the other drive i have one problem though when i boot from the xp cd the cd boots but gets to a screen saying it cant see any hard drives ive been told i need sata drivers laptop i have is a satellite X200-219 Intel core duo 2.2GHz T7500.please can u help me sort this out.heres the hard drive whats in the laptop MK1637GSX: 2.5" HDD 160GB* and product page http://sdd.toshiba.com/main.aspx?Path=Hard...s/MK1637GSXPage

Cheers martin in downing it now sounds fun using a virtual machine ive beeb burning the images and testing them on dc rw discs

It was the discs in the end funny something being wrong with both of them oh well its sorted now lucky i had myself a backup

Keep getting this error it says it cant find OEMIG50.EXE & some other OEM file when trying to install i know the original disc is ok cos it worked when i made a winnt.sif which i used with a floppy anyone know whats wrong here its something to do with outlook express that all i know

I had this prob on a desktop when i changed the ram its been like this since i got the lappy it boots when the blue screen comes up it sits there for ages before i see the desktop dunno if its got anything to do with that bloody norton internet security which was installed on it when i got it that had to come off straight away i used the norton removal tool i havent added ram or anything to the lappy disabled progs what i dont need auto starting at boot defraged

Silvereyes today i got on the buzz of making an unattended XP and 2K first i tryed setup manager that comes with windows but found out thats not a true unattended so thought ok what the hell lets try nLite again before i started i did think i need to sort a virtual machine out before i do anything cos i dont want to start wasting discs again never used a virtual machine before but didnt go any further cos they reacon u need 512 but 2GIG recomended cos i got 1gig in this machine i did'nt bother trying so u recon 1 gig is sweet could i have my current os and a virtual machine os on 1 Gig.

I installed this app NLITE i tryed it with 2K several times last atempt i only had to select one option also tryed it with xp but it kept asking for the serial even though i put it in can someone show me step by step to do a true unattended install of xp pro dont want to intergrate nothing at the mo just would like it to b fully unattended i dont want to waste anymore discs if i can help it was gonna go about installing a virtual machine but it looks like i aint got enoough ram i got 1 Gig they say 512 but recomend 2Gig
