Hey, I am having a little problem with my Win2003 Installation on my Server. Everytime I boot it up I get a message with the following info: "Application popup: Service Control Manager : At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Use Event Viewer to examine the event log for details." In the Event Log I found this (but it is no error/warning, it is a simple information, but I think it matches) "Application popup: : \SystemRoot\System32\ATMFD.DLL failed to load" ATMFD.DLL seems to have to do something with fonts. It's an *.dll file from Adobe, which is installed by default. Does anybody have an idea which service might cause this? The Event log does not give any more information

Hello, I am currently creating a win2k3 nlite image for my servers. However this service (application experience lookup) is not listed in nlite. Could this be added? I also have the problem that it does not recognize the timezone I set in the unattended setup. It ignores my value (+1) and defaults to (-6?) which is the windows us default one. Any ideas on this? last question: I want to change the visual effects, but am unable to find the nlite entries for: Disable: use visual styles on windows and buttons Enable: use common tasks in folders And 2 little bug reports: 1) If you use the internet explorer tweak: "disable internet explorer link creation" this does also delete your "show desktop" icon in the quick launch. 2) Using the tweak "Do not use personalized menus" does not work. It is still enabled if you check the task bar settings after install Thanks for all replies

sorry for pushing this, but I have a few questions: imagine the following scenario: you have a 2gb drive, windows eats 1,5gb, default minimung pagefile size is 768mb what would happen, as used space and minimum pagefile size exceed the physical hard drive space? I really nead to pagefile with 8gb of ram, I am unable to fill them completely (of course I am using a 64bit OS) So would it still be possible to install windows or will it crash? (if minimum drive space disabled)

which hdd are you guys using and which video card? there was a report on the german "tomshardware" side that tells about this error when using a nvidia graphics card and a WD raptor hdd. Does this meet your system?

Don't take me wrong, but I have in mind that you lose the "boot from cd" feature? So you are unable to install the os :/

Hello, I would like to know if there is any method to burn the Vista DVD as CD Image? My folder with th Vista files is now about 700MB, but I can't find any way how to make this a CD, instead of a DVD image. If nobody has an answer, this a feature request Thanks a lot for every helpful answer.
