  1. if im not wrong this would start the windows installation automaticly when you load the cd in windows which i guess is not what you want. im guessing you want it to load when you boot your computer which i dont think this work (very sure but not 100%) i think you would need to use cdshell or a modified microsoftcorporation.img to be able to boot at startup
  2. I just noticed something about 9.4 I'm guessing this is intentional but when you remove internet explorer it removes its core too. I myself dont have any need for the internet explorer folder and it's content but i like to use internet explorer in windows explorer to access sites such as windowsupdate which is possible without the internet explorer folder. So i was wondering if you can add an sub-option to internet explorer to remove the core of ie. I'm guessing alot of people would still like to be able to visit windowsupdate when they use another main browser like firefox and have no need for the internet explorer folder.
  3. when you remove the help centre you should remove the program compatablility guide aswell since it's dependant on the help centre...
  4. 2 small bugs: the language support button is not checked in when you load the program when all the options are selected in it if you've added new items to remove under a category and you had all the options selected aswell as the main item the main item will remain checked altho the new item(s) won't be selected
  5. for me ipconfig doesnt work, it says something about not finding the hostname it might be vmware that is causing it although if it's not i'll try to identify what component causes it..
  6. the problem isn't that it saves it as unicde, but that it is unicode from the beginning... changing it to ANSI fixed the problems for me..
  7. nono, im using a fresh sp1 slipstreamed cd
  8. I had this strange problem with jdeboeck's batches. It wouldn't update the sysoc.inf file, i redid the procedure several times but it didn't wanna work. So I did some manual testing with the findstr command on the sysoc.inf but no luck there until i finally watched the file in a command line editor. It showed a dot before and after every sign. Took some more testing and when i was saving the file in notepad it showed as a Unicode document which was the problem. findstr works with the file now, just gotta do the batches on the whole thing to see if it works good. I'm just wondering if any of you guys have had this problem before, cause i haven't read about anything like this. And btw, is there any Unicode compliant findstr command/file ?
  9. did you try searching? and btw, there is a application switches forum ..
