Hi mate, I think you will need to be much clearer on what your problem is!!!
  3. Hi, thanks for your reply. No i am not positive that this is causing the pause/stutter in games but it seems to be every 10 minutes (im going to time it!) You mention remote desktop but i am sure i have removed that on previous installs on the same hardware but no game stutter. Also this is on a dual core 4400+ so you think the 1050 error would not tie me up? I am going to try different drivers etc, if i fix the stutter i'll post back to clear it up.
  4. Hi guys, I am getting a big pause/stutter in games every 10 minutes or so. And I want to try and clear it up before i vlite again. Event log says - error id 1050, source LSM - Registering with Service Control Manager to monitor Terminal Service status failed with The specified service does not exist as an installed service. , retry in ten minute. Can anyone figure what needs to be left in vista to prevent this happening please? I have searched and somebody suggested leaving in speech support but they were not sure. Edit - event log - - <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> - <System> <Provider Name="LSM" /> <EventID Qualifiers="49152">1050</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>0</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2007-06-03T15:37:35.000Z" /> <EventRecordID>1666</EventRecordID> <Channel>System</Channel> <Computer>***********</Computer> <Security /> </System> - <EventData> <Data>The specified service does not exist as an installed service.</Data> </EventData> </Event>
  5. For the record I am getting the gameux.dll error whenever I run any game. No big deal as the games still run. You think I need to keep game explorer next time???
