  1. I've searched the forums and can not find the answer. I am updating my XP CD to include SP3, RVM Update, and Driver Packs. I have never used the driver packs within NLITE and I am confused as to how to integrate ALL the packs. My Steps. Use Nlite to create working directory, integrate SP3 Use RVM integrator to install RVM update pack Use DBase to integrate ALL driverpacks Back to Nlite for automation I'm also not sure about the Office 2003 being in the correct place Below is my personal (I added items that were generated by DPack into the location and I added Office 2003 items) WINNT.SIF FILE ; Generated by nLite 1.4.9.1 [Data] AutomaticUpdates="Yes" Autopartition=0 MsDosInitiated=0 UnattendedInstall="Yes" [Unattended] UnattendMode=DefaultHide UnattendSwitch="No" OemPreinstall="Yes" OemSkipEula="Yes" FileSystem=* WaitForReboot="No" NoWaitAfterTextMode=1 NoWaitAfterGUIMode=1 DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore NonDriverSigningPolicy=Ignore Hibernation="No" ECHO. This is the first time I am trying to created an all inclusive DVD. Usually I just integrate the SP and RVM update.
  2. Based on your work and following the unattend guide, will this work with Office XP?
  3. Ryan's integrator is designed specifically to add/update/integrate/slipstream the base Windows XP CD nLite is originally designed to tweak and remove unwanted XP components. The confusing part is that nLite can also add/update/integrate/slipstream; however, if you are using RyanVM's update pack, it is recomeded to use the integrator, as RyanVM and the community can assist you in trouble shooting your disk, assuming you have not tweaked and/or removed unwanted XP components with nLite.
  4. Long time reader, first post ... This is what I did with my old lappy that did not have floppy or CD, I purchased a USB external harddrive enclosure, connected it to my "NEWER" machine and installed XP on it. Worked like a charm. When windows was done installing itself and re-booting, I but the HD back into the laptop to properly configure itself and drivers. Hope this helps.
