  9. A LETTER FROM THE PENIS: I, the Penis, hereby request a raise in salary for the following reasons: I do physical labor. I work at great depths. I plunge head first into everything I do. I do not get weekends or public holidays off. I work in a damp environment. I don’t get paid overtime. I work in a dark workplace that has poor ventilation. I work in high temperatures. My work exposes me to contagious diseases. Reagrds, The Penis Response: Dear Penis, After assessing your request, and considering the arguments you have raised, the administration rejects your request for the following reasons: You do not work 8 hours straight. You fall asleep on the job after brief work periods. You do not always follow the orders of the management team. You do not stay in your designated area and are often seen visiting other locations. You do not take initiative - you need to be pressured and stimulated in order to start working. You leave the workplace rather messy at the end of your shift. You don’t always observe necessary safety regulations, such as wearing the correct protective clothing. You will retire well before you are 65. You are unable to work double shifts. You sometimes leave your designated work before you have completed the assigned task. And if that were not all, you have been seen constantly entering and exiting the workplace carrying two suspicious-looking bags. Sincerely, The Management

  15. yup, they were shut down earlier due to legal threats from other P2P file sharing programs. But they are back now again as mentioned in their site... But as expected, LimeWire is again gonna take action against them as quoted from a statement by LimeWire...
  16. P2P file sharing is here to stay, and XoloX does it in style ! Installation is easy and there is no form to fill out, no user name to register, just a basic, functional, and clean interface with three sections -- search, transfer, and files. You can search for any kind of file immediately after installing and specify if you want audio, video, image, program, document, or "any type." Supposedly, it's the first Gnutella client to allow downloading from different sources like Morpheus, KaZaA, and Grokster. It doesn't have any spyware attached either. All search results automatically update as users log on and off so you don't have to keep refreshing to get the most current selection. Each search remains at the top of your screen like a file tab so you can click back to it at any time while you conduct other searches. Very supportive. The more you get to know XoloX, the smarter it gets. It auto-resumes downloads if you or the person with the file logs off and on again. If the same download is available from several sources, XoloX will take a bit from each so as not to drain one person's bandwidth. Brilliant. Many of the files we selected downloaded in record time. I got many results whenever I searched for a song and got gr8 speeds while downloading. Although it sucks up lotta RAM, its easy to use. For the most part, you get in, you get your file, and you get out -- sans drama. Unlike other popular Napster alternatives, there are no chat or instant messaging features, no hot lists, no music recommendations, and no built-in player. In return, you never have to ask, "What is XoloX doing/thinking?" There is no mystery. It has one task and it does it well -- working to download your requested files. Mature file sharing has arrived. Enough said, you can download it from here.
  17. MSN is what I use as its lightweight and easy. Though it does get problematic while connecting sometimes

  21. The U.S. Army wants to know if you can be all that you can be -- in a simulated combat game aimed at the next generation of recruits. The army on Wednesday unveiled a pair of give-away video games, "Soldiers," a role-playing adventure, and an action game called "Operations," both aimed at gaming enthusiasts who might someday join the military. The game features 20 single and multiplayer scenarios, including training missions ranging from navigating obstacle courses at Fort Benning, Georgia to parachute drops in preparation for assignment to the 82nd Airborne Division. Unlike similar combat games, the primary goal of "America's Army" is not killing a massive number of enemies, but instead completing tasks and setting career goals. The Army expects by September to spent about $7.5 million on the program -- less than 1 percent of its total recruitment budget. Read more... :blueteam
  22. wrong forum m8... it should have been posted in the 'MS Office' forum. Anyway, some mod will move the post for ya, as we all love n00b's
  23. The most important factor is Support for your existing customers. You'll need to commit your time to answering sales and support questions, and getting everything you need up and running. So you should be able to dedicate yourself all day to your business. And, are you hosting it on your own server/network or are you opting for a reseller account ? If its from your own server/network, make sure you do have a good uptime as well. So I would recommend you to stick with some reseller plans. HostHelp.com is a good starting point for wannabe hosts.
  24. How about a Software forum which will feature reviews, download links (no not warez !), etc. of the latest, useful softwares released for Windows ?
