  1. Like I said, there is one Word program in my computer. There are just two different accounts that use this Word. My logic is, if Word in my sister's account Shows the paragraph marks I want, why can't mine? Must be some setting matter, and not some missing fonts, because clearly I have a same word in one computer. Cheers. :|
  2. Yes, I know-. Hard and Soft returns. but there is one problem; the screenshots I showed were just the same file opened in the different Windows XP account. Just to clarify, in the screenshots I gave they are SAME file viewed in DIFFERENT XP ACCOUNT. also, they are all hard return. Actually, I forgot to mention; it doesn't matter what the language is. I just needed to take a screenshot for comparison, and that file happened to be open when I was thinking about getting a screenshot. Of course, I bet you wouldn't want to see my bad essay, would you? Cheers.
  3. Here's the demonstration... One is from my sister's account, and the other's from my account. Oh, and by the way: In case you ask, the language is Korean. Cheers
  4. Hi guys. I'm new to this forum and I have been desperately looking for the solution to my problem. The attachment image file you see above this post shows two kinds of paragraph marks, that you can turn on and off to help your editing. both A and B style seems familiar, right? but my Words only show the B. You see, I am an old-user, and I would prefer a LOT if I had the first paragraph mark(A) rather than the second one.(B) I am using a multi-user computer in my home and in my account the Word only shows B whenever I turn my paragraph marks on, causing much of frustration. The problem emerges when I use the Word from the other accounts, my sister's for example. It shows the A! Is there a problem with my Word? or Is there some way to change/convert, or whatever the word I'm looking for might be... the paragraph marks? I have touched all the options, and customize taps in Tools bar. I even asked the school teacher about this. (not to mention the word Assistant, who usually proves its uselessness by showing completely irrelevant answers.) so Please, I am asking and begging to all you experts. What is the problem? Is there any way to change the paragraph marks?(formatting marks, they are sometimes called.) Currently I am using Microsoft Word 2002. It's best suited to me than XP for some reason. And, in school I'm using Word XP. So I would appreciate the help for the both versions. Thanks.
