Using nLite 1.3, I've attempted several times to build two WinXP SP2 loads with LSILogic and/or nVRAID drivers. Most of the time I've also used the Unattended option. I found the resulting loads to be significantly degraded. In all instances, there were several services that were not started up, in spite of their setting of Automatic. Also, other parts of the load were missing, such as Internet Exlorer, although the iexplore.chm file was present. Also, I found that nlite is retaining information even when presets are not selected. For instance, the product key showed up in the Unattended window. This occurred even though I had erased all the Last Session files I could find (in the source directory and in the Program directory) prior to next starting up nLite. And, it appears nLite is incorporating multiple copies of drivers in the load, or failing to accurately report the size. I started to build a load using only the Integrate Drivers and Create Bootable ISO options. In the previous three attempts, the driver sizes were .91 MB, 1.21 MB and 1.51 MB. I twice canceled when I saw the diver size of .91, started it again, and saw the driver size increase to 1.21, and canceled and started again only to find the driver size up to 1.51 MB in spite of each time only selecting the nVRAID drivers. In addition, I have been having a problem with window sizing on Win XP. For instance, only the first two lines of text of the Integrate Drivers report are visible. Also, most of the Product Code boxes in the Unattended section show only 4 characters. These window sizing problems are perhaps specific to my XP machine as I haven't seen such problems on my Win2K machine.
