Ah, solved my own problem. The plugin MSODRAA9.DLL was causing the problem. It must have downloaded via a popup, and made it impossible to use drawing toolbar objects in word. Beware of MSODRAA9.DLL!!! galbraithenator

I have Office 2000 installed on my home computer, and if I try to use something from the drawing toolbar, the layout changes from "print layout" view to "normal" view. It occurs if I try to create an new object, or move or change an existing object like a picture, wordart, line, toolbar...the list goes on. The same thing occurs if I try to insert an object via a menu. As you would guess, the problem is VERY FRUSTRATING. Has anyone heard of something like this happening before, or can anyone help me? Is this a bug that has popped up after over 4 years of use, or a new virus etc? galbraithenator
