is there a file i can replace from the original cd that could help?

Hello, i have downloaded a custom win xp dvd and i would like to reset all registry tweaks it has to default and make my own. I can see the dvd was made with nlite so i tried to restore them with last session but when i test it later with virtual pc i see that nothing changed. Is there anything else i can do to fix that? Thank you
