Hi, as a replacement for the removed Windows MediaPlayer and codecs, I wanted to install the KazaaLiteMegaCodec-Pack (tried v1.67 and v1.69béta) but it gave a lot of errors on the end of the installation. I think it has something to do with the removal of the WMP and/or codecs, and I was wondering what could be done about this? Thanks in advance, Elena

It was indeed my source files that were corrupted, tried the exact same settings with another Vista installation and it works, sorry to have bothered you with this Thanks and greetings, Elena

Tried that already (with component cache, and other stuff. And I don't use unattended settings, so can't be that either I guess). I'll now try and remove the same things from another full Vista cd. Perhaps the original files are corrupted...

Hi, I seem to have a problem with Windows Media Player 11 and can't find a solution, or what's causing the error. In the screenshot you'll see the error I get when I first open WMP (actually first the wizard starts, which works fine, and after that, when WMP opens automatically, this error comes up and WMP closes after pressing the OK button). I already tried removing different components and several installations (VMWare and real ones), but it keeps on giving the same error. Does anyone have an idea on what to do with or how to solve this?
