  1. Sure enough, found a startup.exe file in the \mount directory. Onced I deleted it, WinPE launched as it should. Thanks for all your help.
  2. Thanks so much wimb. How can I create the 64bit registry entries for the Make_PE3\PE3_mod\PE3_reg\amd64 directory?
  3. Yeah, Tripredacus, no setup.exe. Is there a way I can determine which file is being called to launch the Win7 install I described in the first post? Do you know of any WinPE 3.0 walkthrough/setup guide that incorporated gimagex.exe?
  4. Tripredacus, thanks so much for the reply. I am using the .wim from the WAIK by using the copype.cmd. 5. I have built a WinPE 3.0 disc following Brian Lee Jackson's build (http://blog.brianleejackson.com/deployment-image-servicing-and-management-dism-winpe-3-0-boot-environment/comment-page-2#comment-1558). When I boot from it however, a Windows 7 installation screen is displayed prompting for language selection. What am I missing? Thanks so much.
  6. I pulled the drivers off of the PC manufacturer's driver disk & now BartPE recognizes & installs the network adapters. Thanks to all that replied!!!
  7. I'm using XP Pro & the drivers were downloaded as a plug-in from another PE support forum page. I'll try compiling the drivers from the manufacturers website. Thanks!
  8. Hello all. This is my first post on the forum & first foray into the world of WinPE/BartPE. I am trying to utilize the BartPE Ghost32 plug-in as an alternative to .dos boot disks. I followed all the guides I could find & built a BartPE disk using PE Builder 3.1.10a. After boot to PE, I attempt to start network support. I choose a static network profile, then receive the message, "Registering network components...", followed by "Installing network adapters..." & finally receive an error message, "Unable to install network adapters." I want to install two network drivers on the disk -- Broadcom 57xx & Intel Gigabit, so I created the following directories: C:\pebuilder3110a\drivers\Net\Broadcom with the contents: b57win32.cat b57win32.inf b57xp32.sys C:\pebuilder3110a\drivers\Net\Intel with the contents: e1e5231.cat e1e5231.din e1e5231.inf e1e5231.sys e1000msg.dll e1000325.cat e1000325.din e1000325.inf e1000325.sys etco32.dll intelnic.dll nicco.32.dll nicin32.dll prounstl.exe Any help or guidance would be much appreciated. -chipmat31
