HTML content is shown as tags in Microsoft Outlook

You may want to check your Tools > Options > Mail Format and make sure you are set to compose in HTML format. Please see settings below:

It sounds like either the Blackberry device or the Blackberry server is set to delete emails from the email server upon receipt. Unfortunately I do not know where these settings are off the top of my head, but you may want to contact the System Administrator to verify these settings.
