  1. Try going into the bios and going to drives then sata operation and changing it from ahci to ata and tell me what happens.
  2. Ok for my next issue I have ran into. I have been trying to make a unattended dell xp pro cd and I have run into a problem with the raid drivers. I added Sil 3112r raid drivers to the disc as I have done before on an oem xp pro disc but for some reason on the dell disc it loads the Sil 3112 drivers which are built into the disc from the factory and of course does not see the raid correctly, it only sees half of the hard drive space, basically one drive from the striped set of two discs. So it formats half the space and copies the files and halts on the next reboot. My question is how do I make it load the 3112r drivers instead of the 3112 drivers? Should I remove the 3112 drivers from the disk? What if I made it load the 3112r drivers first or something? I checked the settings several times and made a few coasters to no avail. Once again any help is appreciated.
  3. Hey thanks I finally got it, that worked like a champ. Much appreciated
  4. I have made several unattended install discs in the past thanks to this sight and now I have been experimenting a little more. One thing that I cannot seem to get working for the life of me and have looked all over the net for the answer and have not found is setting it up to install some software from a secondary internal hard drive, you know stuff that cannot fit on the disk. Every time I make a disk it tells me the file cannot be found, I am guessing that you cannot directly specify the drive letter and that there is some other way you have to do things. I have been trying to make this work from the install.cmd in the $OEM$ folder. This secondary hard drive is always d: every time I do an install so I had a line like: start /wait "D:\Software\Setup.exe". This install.cmd file is executed during the GUIRUNONCE phase. Anyways any help is much appreciated.
