  1. Hello, I just finished installing my own nLited Windows XP Professional and when trying to install WMP11 it says I must activate my windows copy... So ok, I go to the start menu... And ¡Surprise! the link to the product activation is not there nor under Accessories -> System Tools... Can anyone point me to the file that is executed to activate windows? I don't know what I did to remove it...
  2. Apparently it was an issue with my ISP, everything works fine now... Weird, I called them and all of sudden it worked I still don't have netstat command, but I don't think that's important Cheers and thanks.
  3. Here it is, it is in Spanish though My connection is DSL 6mb bandwith. Thanks again ULTIMA_SESI_N.INI
  4. Hello, After installing a nLited version of Windows XP I have trouble with my internet connection. When gaming, it disconnects me from the server randomly or causes lotsof ping and then disconnects me... This happens also while surfing the internet, some pages wont load until some time have passed... I called the guys at my ISP and the told me that everything was correct, also they made me type "netstat -a" in a CMD windows and the output was that Windows could not recogniz netstat as command or something like that Later I tried to play from my laptop and it worked great all the time, while logging back into te game from my desktop compter gave me again ping issues... Any tips on this? Thanks in advance, and excuse my bad english.
  5. That worked super-fine! Removing Outlook is what makes MSN Messenger to show up weird characters Aye, I'm a happy customer now, no need to refund
  6. I'm not using latest MSN Messenger, I'm using 8.1 Oh, I'll try unchecking Outlook and see if that helps
  7. Hello, I used nlite to make a tiny version of XP SP2 and all went nice, it installed good and evertything, but when I logged in MSN Mesenger, names that had "weird" characters like [̲̅ə̲̅٨̲̅٥̲̅٦̲̅] or *̡͌l̡*̡̡ ̴̡ı̴̴̡ ̡̡͡|̲̲̲͡͡͡ ̲▫̲͡ ̲̲̲͡͡π̲̲͡͡ ̲̲͡▫̲̲͡͡ ̲|̡ ̴̡ı̴̡̡ *̡͌l̡* appared to me as squares... What did I removed that does not let me see those? I didn't checked any keyboard to be removed. Thanks in advance, Laer. P.s.: excuse my bad english too.
  8. hi there, and sorry for my bad english i've downloaded some cool cursors from deviantart and I was wondering if it would be possible to insert them in a windows installation cd (I'm using nlite) so when windows finish installing it would use my cursors instead of the default ones thanks in advance
  9. hello there so I went to the shop, bought an OEM Windows XP Pro SP2 and when I copied the source to my hard drive with nlite I found out i had this folder called DOTNETFX (see image) I believe it is safe to delete DOCS, SUPPORT and VALUEADD folders but my question is if it's safe to delete DOTNETFX folder on an unattended instalation as in all newbie guides I've read there's no such folder. here's the image with all the contents of my CD thanks in advance
  10. hi there I just found out about nLite and what can I do with it, see, I'm a gamer at heart, i loooove to play PC games specially online ones like WoW, CS:S and so on... So I was wondering about creating an installation to have a quick and smooth OS but then i got to the question about what will be better, Windows XP Home Editio or XP Professional? Here in Europe it's a difference of about 30€ so it's not a price question, I've tried finding out the diferences between one and the other but i can't get anything clear and maybe Home Edition will have less processes or something, I don't know, that's why I ask I had another question about Windows XP Home and the AMD X2 processors but a friend pointed me while writting this post that they're fully compatible (correct me if I'm wrong...) oh, well, thanks in advance for the answers p.s. btw, first post here, /hi all ^^
