hi! Thanks for the help! is OST file the file that stores all my downloaded emails? if so, i do not want to delete or replace it because there are much more downloaded emails than the emails in my web account.

hi! I'm using Microsoft Outlook 2003, and it was working well. But recently when I click the send/receive button, sometimes (not always, about once every 6 times), it downloads all the emails in my web email account, NOT just the new ones. Could anyone tell me what's the problem? The incoming email server is pop3. thanks so much for the help! jack
