  1. Well, that actually seems to work. Thanks! But I do find it strange. Why is this option there if it doesn't work?
  2. I am setting up a semi-unattended installation CD for Windows XP SP3, but I ran into a problem. I want some things be unattended, but some other things attended. One of these things is the regional-settings. However, with my winnt.sif it won't show anymore. This is my winnt.sif: ;SetupMgrTag [Data] AutoPartition=0 MsDosInitiated="0" UnattendedInstall="Yes" [Unattended] UnattendMode=DefaultHide OemSkipEula=Yes OEMPreinstall=Yes WaitForReboot="No" [GuiUnattended] OEMSkipRegional=0 OEMSkipWelcome=1 [UserData] ProductKey=XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX [Identification] JoinWorkgroup=WORKGROUP [Networking] InstallDefaultComponents=Yes [Components] msmsgs=off wmaccess=off msnexplr=off As you can see I added OEMSkipRegional=0, so setup will show the regional-settings. Or at least, it should. Because it doesn't. It skips it and in the end my Windows installation has a US-English locale. I tried looking for a solution, but couldn't find anything that helps.
  3. I have got both the Dutch as well as the US English versions of MS Office 2007 and I was wondering if it is possible to use the proofing tools from the Dutch version in the English version. On the Dutch DVD there is folder called Proofing.nl-nl which contains another folder: proof.nl. I take it these are the proofing tools. I installed the English version of Office first. After that, I tried to run Proof.msi from the folder I mentioned earlier, hoping that this way I could install the Dutch proofing tools. That didn't work, I got an error message. After that I tried a custom install of the Dutch version over the English version, installing only the Dutch proofing tools. This resulted in 750MB of extra disk space usage. I quickly figured out why so much disk space was used: apart from the proofing tools, Office also decided to install all the Dutch user interface files, so I can switch from English menu's, help, etc. to their Dutch equivalents. That's all not what I want. To put it simple: I want the English Office 2007 with Dutch proofing tools. Nothing more, nothing less. I know that one can buy language packs, but that seems a waste since I have both the Dutch and the English version lying here on my desk. Does anyone know how I can "hack" the Dutch proofing tools into the English version? Perhaps I should edit some of the XML files in the installation, but I have no idea what I should put in them.
