i was told of a way to change the directories to another drive, but i want to find a way to change the user directory to another drive. i was wondering if anyone knows how to change the drive letter of the users directory

thanks because all the drives will already be formatted so that vista, xp will share a program file directory, and a documents directory

i saw that you could change the directory of the program files and was wondering if there was a way to change the documents and settings to a different directory the reason being is because i want to make the documents and settings directory to a different drive.

i forgot the exact name for the folder that has the documents in Vista, i know in nlite it has he option to choose the document and settings root, i was wondering if vLite also does and if so how do i go about changing the directory to another drive and another name, i want to do this so that my Vista and XP share the same Documents and Settings folder, for my documents, pictures, music ... and so on. how would i go about doing this? please and thank you for your help.

Yah i got that deal and i kno this is probably not the right place to post this but i am getting very desperate to find the answer, i bought Windows XP Media Center Edition OEM with vista upgrade coupon, and it said last chance is june and i can't find the sheet that i had to fill out and mail into to get Vista, is there anywhere i can get another copy of these form?

i got Windows MCE OEM with the Express upgrade but i have misplaced the paper with the information on it for what i have to do to get the upgrade, i still have the recipient, i was wondering is there anywhere i can get the form and anything else i might need, i tried googleing it but i found nothing to answer my question.

i have a computer in my room and i have it record tv shows sometimes i leave the house and i leave my computer on while it records but when i get home the computer is still on and it has been close to three hours or more since it stopped recording, i was wondering is there any setting s that i can set to allow it to turn off after it is done recording for that day.

to the problem all i can say is try again it worked for me just fine. do you know what version of nlite and autoit he is using?

What version of nlite and auto it are you using in the videos my nlite looks completely different it doesn't have some of the options you used in the videos? P.S. all the videos work and there links work you have to press verify not hit enter for it to work on gigasize, took me 6 tries to figure that out.

when i add them it says unexpected update or hot fix, and then it opens the file so i install it thinking it will install on the CD but instead installs on my hard drive.

i recently bought windows XP MCE and installed it and realized that in three weeks i would have to install it again to the same comp but to a different hard drive, ( a much better one and i have a lot of programs on my computer such as Firefox, Thunderbird, Microsoft office, msn messenger, to name a few, i don't mind losing information or profiles but i want to do a clean install of Windows but i want to have all the other program install at the same time so i don't need to go though the three (exaggeration but feels like it) hours it would take to install all of the programs, is there any way using nLite or any other program, to add the programs i like to the windows XP installition disk so they would install at the same time?
