I have a problem. I want to set my IP to have a different range from its gateway. So I do this: I got a router TP Link and I set it routing like this: Destination IP address: 192.168.3.1 Subnet Mark: 255.255.255.0 Gateway IP: 192.168.1.1 If I set that routing in my router, I can connect to the Internet when I set my IP to the IP range: 192.168.3.x-255 If I dont set that, I can't connect to the Internet when I set my IP with a different range from the Gateway. However, I can only connect to the Internet for about 10-15 minutes and then I can't connect to any other website? What confused me here is why could I surf the internet for about 10-15 minutes with the different IP range and then (my computer or router) block me from connecting to the internet? Is there anything weird here? Or because I set the destination IP address wrong that make my computer was filled with a lot of connection and then it refuses to connect or something? Is there anyone here know about that? Thanks

he he, why dont' u try: Windows ---> Compare side to side with (your sheet). And then, you can choose Arrange (vertical, Horizontal, Cascade). You can compare both:D

I have a math here. I can only use: to map a network drive into compB.but if in compA has shared some files or drives (partitions). I got the errors: Access denied. What's the problem here? Can I still access map drive if I had shared something?

I though lynx is good here But these version is not good like lynx in linux I can't make it work when i try to load some site from cmd (Winxp Pro) even when I try putty. It still doesn't help

I setup a connection in my windowsXP. So when I was away from my box at office. I still connect to my box using ssh or telnet to get my files and to some other stuff. When I doing with my file, I need some soft from net. I need to suft some website but useless. There're many reason why coder've given this function in Linux, right? The problem is my office box is not allowed to intall some more application. My admin doesnt allow me to install more. So powercmd is not allowed here. I need some more soft that run directly and needn't install.

Anyone ever confused about how can we suft website just by command line? I've searched all the web and only find powercmd (which need install quite hard)? Anyone have some solution for this?

Hi Thunderbolt, I've tried your way but it doesn't work. It tells me that I have wrong TCP-IP.sys. May be that cause because I've change something in my windows version. Thanks you anyway.

Thanks you guys for help. But I dont think my computer was infected with virures because I always update Symantec Antivirus. Anyway, like nitroshift said : If I was infected with virus, I think no virus or trojan try to close my port ( useless) unless they try to prevent me from connect to Internet. I think some of my update try to protect me from hacker or virus so hard that I can't do some stuff I know Microsoft is trying to hardenning Windows like Linux but please don't do much further B) . I hope someone can help me to fix this problem? Thanks

when I try to use some soft I cant start it. Is that because I have updated from MS update site? For example, when I try Tvants to watch TV online they give me this alert: This alert have just recently pop up. Some day ago, I can watch TV by Tvants but now I can't. So, how can I enlarge this limitation? Thanks
