  1. Thanks Nicon. The OEM disk had a file "SVCPACK.INF" which one of the sites instructed me to delete from the i386 folder. However, I found no trace of SVCPACK.IN_ on the disk. Anyway, thanks for the file.
  2. In the interest of continuing adult education (I'm 72 years old), I'm trying to make a Windows XP Pro installation disk with SP2 slipstreamed into it. I have a Dell OEM installation disk for Windows XP Pro with SP1a already slipstreamed into it. I have read and searched for hours to learn how to make a new CD with SP2 slipstreamed in. The snag I've run into is that I cannot find anyone with an original Windows XP Pro installation disk without some form of slipstreamed service pack from which to obtain a copy of SVCPACK.IN_. Does anyone have a source for this original file?
