  1. @Andromeda43 (message posted May 2 2007, 11:20 AM)

    Hit the nail on the head 100 percent i'm a tech myself and i work on alot of PC's with CD drives but some are to old to read CD-R's and CD-RW and somethings just work better coming off a floppy. So the floppy is a good friend to have around.

  2. I have a 500 Gig Seagate on Windows Me and it has about 250 gig filled on it so far with no problems. And i also have (2) 250 Gig Western Digitals hooked up for over a year with no problems. I have read in a couple places USB

    DOES NOT have the 137 Gig limitation. And if you see the drives i have listed above in this post i have had no problems. So you are safe and can add the big USB harddrive to your computer with no problems.

  3. I was wondering how do i edit the Windows Start Bar. When you click the start bar It say what version of Windows your using. I wanted to change it to some other name. How can i do that. Also when i go to the control pannel and click on System it tells me how much memory i have and processor speed but way at the top it tells me what Windows version i have can i change that to whatever text i want. Thanks for any and all help.

  4. Make sure you have a Corporate Media...

    This should take care of the rest:

    winnt.sif

    [GuiUnattended]
    OemSkipWelcome=1

    Were do i type and copy and paste this info anywere in the winnt.sif or is there a certain spot in the winnt.sif that i have to copy and paste this code and what about the other poster above me do i need to do his thing to or just yours to make it work. Again thanks for all your help.

  5. I created a Nlite unattended install CD and it installs fine with no user intervention until at the end of the install it says do you want to register with M$ yes or no is there a way i can use Nlite to take that out so i get a 100 percent install of windows with no need to answer that question and after its done installing it goes straight to windows without me needing to answer that question. Thanks for all your help in advance.

    (PS)

    I am using Win XP Pro Corp which needs no activation.
