  1. Where did you download the updated version from? Thanks
  2. Ok, I will try it again, but I've tried it about 10 times already and have the same results each time. The date of my WUAPI.DL_ file is 3/24/05. Did your source cd already include SP1? Also, when you tried it and ran windows update, did it go right to the express/custom screen? Thanks for all your help with this!
  3. The size of WindowsUpdateAgent20-x86.exe is 4.28 MB (4,386 KB). Timestamp = Sunday, October 29, 2006 11:14:57 PM PRODSPEC.INI
  4. Attached is the WindowsUpdate.log file. I am going to start over with a fresh souce. Once I have a clean souce I will reply with the rest of your answers. Thanks WindowsUpdate.txt

  6. It's still not working. After I install 2003 and run windows update it is still asking me to install an active x update. Now if I run WindowsUpdateAgent20-x86.exe manually and reboot, I goes right into the express/custom page of windows update. I guess it really isn't slipsteaming.
  7. Same problem. After installing 2003 server I click on windows update and it tells me that I need to install an active x control for windows update. I click on install and it just hangs. It never even gets to the express or custom page.
  8. Great. I will try this first thing tomorrow. After I re-run HFSLIP I should no longer be asked to update windows update correct? Thanks again for all your help.
  9. Got the file this time. Do I need to put WindowsUpdateAgent20-x86.exe in the HF directory too or do I just need the MUWEB_SITE.CAB in the HFCABS? Thanks
  10. Thanks for you quick response, but I do not see the sfx file that I need to import. As far as IE7, I should be ok for now since I do not want to integrate it at this time. Thanks again!
  11. Hi, I've been trying to slipstream the windows update agent on my 2003 SP1 server cd and I have not been successful. It looks like it is successful but when I go to window update I have to install the update for windows update first. I have included WindowsUpdateAgent20-x86.exe in the HF directory as well as MUWEB_SITE.CAB in the HFCABS directory. Can someone please shed some light on as to what I may be doing wrong? Thanks
  12. Thanks. I will try the Ryan pack. How do you add the pack to nlite? Thanks
  13. I don't think this will work since I am talking about 2003 server. Thanks
  14. Not sure what Ryan pack is. When I setup a new server and go to windows update I am asked to update the windows update files. After I run the install, I can then get to the express and custom options.
  15. Hi, I am able to use NLite to slipstream all windows updates except the actual latest version of Windows Update itself. Is there a way to slipstream the windows update files? When I perform a new set up and run windows update there are no critical updates but I have to update windows update on each new server I build. Thanks
