  1. Sure will. I'll report back. Thank you.
  2. I have tested this quite a few times to isolate the problem. This update will not get applied correctly. However using an optional update that allows you to run QFECHECK shows that it is installed, but MS update still shows it as an available update. Tried using NoKillBits parameter in HFANSWER which still doesn't work. Not sure why it's not applying. I see in the script that it should add in the reg key that supposodely makes this happen, but it's still coming ip for me. I'm using XP SP3 volume license version. Also, add kb905474 to your update list, which is WGA notifications. Thanks, Jason
  3. Look in the link below. I have used it extensively and it works nicely. No issues that I have ran into. I have not used in the last 4 months so their may be issues with newer updates that I am unaware of. If you have issues, let me know. I may be able to help in supporting the x64 version while Tomcat76 is not available if possible. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=114098
  4. What actually needs to be included into hfslip for it to fully slipstream properly? I do not have time to test this at the moment.
  5. I installed using hfslip 1.7.8 using all updates per list as of 6-11-08 with windows xp sp3 slipstreamed. In setuperr, it says: Windows update lists this update. This is on a Apple iMac via bootcamp. Shouldn't make a difference. Only difference is that a bluetooth driver is installed after windows is done installing.
  6. You can move the PST file to the d drive. When you startup outlook you can point it to the PST file, or data file. I've done this exact situation with deep freeze.
  7. Ya sorry. Ive never looked at setuplog until this run. It says at the top failed loading a few things but I'm guessing they don't affect anything or something like that. The setuperr.log had nothing in it, so thats what i meant by the run succeeded. Sorry about that.
  8. Here is the setuplog.log file from the windows directory. I received no errors in setuperr.log on this run using everything, WMP11, Flash and TZ update plugins, rc3, IE7, and Microsoft Update. setuplog.zip
  9. I'm getting a folder in Program Files(x86) called Windows Media Player[strings] and it has on compressed file inside. Seems out of place to me.
  10. I'm trying to find out my problem. I slipstreamed IE7, the new TZ update, and WMP11 with the microsoft update cabs. I received errors. I don't know if its because I have IE7 with the microsoft update cabs or the new TZ update but im testing.
  11. Everything is working thus far with 1.0.0 rc. Is WMP11 not far down the road ? I know this isnt specific to hfslip, but what about the .net maker for x64 ? I was thinking about looking at it.
  12. Just ran. No problems at all. So, can't use DriverSigningPolicy = "Ignore". Trying 2003 now.
  13. Here is a new error im getting. This is the most recent version hfslip using plugins since I fixed my error. pic.zip
  14. Removed automaticupdates and the driverpolicy parameters. No errors in setuperr.log
  15. I'm still testing one by one.
  16. Running out of ideas here. I don't know what it is.
  17. Same thing. I'm commenting out oempreinstall and oemskipwelcome and rerunning.
  18. Here it is. Let me know. Definitely my winnt.sif file though. WINNT.zip
  19. Must be something in my winnt.sif file that it doesnt like. I removed that and it installs properly.
  20. Removed winnt.sif, plugins, and changed in hfanswer.ini installrc=1 to installrc=. I'm rerunning now.
  21. Attached is my setuperr.log. There has to be something else wrong. setuperr.log.zip
  22. Oh i know. I forgot to copy the source I was using at work so that I could use it at home. For whatever reason, the source im using at home is acting weird. I just checksums and everything. The exact same.
  23. I forgot to slipstream service pack 2 is one problem. I moved machines, I was working at home this weekend. Even after slipstreaming service pack 2, its still giving me lots of errors in setuperr.log with .exe files.
  24. I just changed. I was using vmware 6.0 now using 6.3 to see if it makes a difference. Then I'm goign to try the new the hfslip version.
  25. After rerunning xp x64 with the release just before the one you just posted, a lot of things are missing like internet explorer. The folder is in program files but its empty. Same for media player. Im going to re do it just to make sure nothing was corrupt. This is also on a different machine using VMware 6.0.
