Hello there, I have bought new ZEN Vision W, i have problem converting to divx in vista. Its my vista the 1 giving problem to convert.contacted Zen but they cant help out becoz its the OS dat giving problem. They said i have to wait for vista patch or wat so ever. Please help me out about vista here..wher to get the codec or the right converter for my zen.

hello guys im back, this time i was having 2 account under me.later on today i decided to remove the old 1, but the mass destruction was when i hit the remove the files.I din know it will remove all my files dat i saved on the other account.is there any way or tricks to retrieve them back.Some high confidential documents. Hai, The problem has been solved, i disable my Guest account on my pc, and it solved the matter.Now my process is normal even i went inside the video folder.Thanx anyway i will keep the tools thou, maybe this will be repeated in the future. Regards Wormyx

Actually, I think the problem is being caused by M$'s own shell hook for generating previews and getting info of media files.BTW, unless this is a screenshot taken mid-work with many programs open, 212M is a rather high commit charge... my system boots at ~67M and doesn't go past 150 unless I open a lot of apps. No, i din open any apps.this result is just after i closed the my document/wher the video files r located.Usually the thumb preview thing only i open n the document is still open on the bground rite.Now i neva open anything on the bground, i closed the video folder already.But i din open em. After disabling all the process wht must i do cluberti ? how if theres the same pronblem ?

Why ? i scaned for virus, malware, adware, spyware...non was found..it was okay ysday, just 2day after making some dvd movies, this process thing just rise when i went to My Document/MyVideo folder where it contains few movies.No i neva had this problem when i went inside this folder, its just after making this dvd movies.I dont know why, sudden rise just like that. and yes im using orginal oem from window xp sp2 with latest patch n updates.120g hdd, 2 partitions.

Im dont understand a thing in doom9, im juz new u know. all of the guides r so much advance , i think so.neway already made my movies.Its all in avi.Now i want them to burned onto dvd with menu's n chapters.Do i use dvd-r or dvd+rw ?

When you convert it to .avi, the resulting file will be smaller in size, no need to compress it. Ohw, so i wanted to burn them as vcd, do i need to convert them back to mpg again to put on disc ? This file is big, how to spilt them.If im done with the spilt how bout the subtitle ? How to spilt them ?

Hello there, Im sorry if i stared this thread at the wrong spot. I just wanted a help on video formats and converts. Neway leave that at a side, my problem is ( i made this movie using my handycam, with alot of effort to learn and do things myself(its very complicated for a n00b'y gal like me) i already have the movie i made in my computer as a movie.mpg, a very large file it is) Now i wanted to know how to compress it as much as i could w/o loosing the resolutions and audio's.I also wanted to add subtitle( as somepart of the movie is in diffrent language) and i already have the subtitle with as movie.srt.Now when i play the movie oh..yes i can see the subtitle( and yeah i already installed most of the wanted codecs like DivX and Xvid, and also products from GordionKnot Codec.Ahh yeah back to the old question, i wanted to compress it to as much as i could.Leave the subtitle matter a side first, the most main thing is i wanna learn how to use Virtualdubmod or virtualdub or nandub(its for divx if im not mistaken) to convert this movie.mpg straight to avi(divx/xvid). I don't mind if the guide must use tools like TmpegEnc.Because i already got the hardcore movie encoding/decoding/converting/editing tools with me.And i also dont want straight forward software like mpg2avi and sorta tools.Yes, i wanna learn from the basic. Then after making it as an movie.avi(xvid), now i wanted to add the subtitle which is movie.srt. I know if i put bout the movie and subtitle my player(classic media player will read it)because its a directshow(installed in my already).But if i make the movie.avi as vcd where to put the sub ? Or you guys can guide me bind the sub into my movie, so after binding it i can easily cut the long movie and burn as vcd onto 2dics using Nero. Hope plenty of guys or gals here can show me the way, once im able to make this 1 successful i wont so much n00b'y.I just wanted to know the term of using this tools. And if can many of can share both ur error mistake and how u over come them.Because im learning guys, and im sure there is plenty for me to learn from ya mistakes.Hope to see some replies, Thank You

hello there, How to pack some big files, i wanted it to be cut into pieces, tiny pieces. I seen files like winrar they use like .r01, r02 - r100 or like part01, part02 and so on, how is that ? I want to make something like that.Or where can i get the guides for that ?

Okay, this is my 1st time using a dvd burner, and i was wanted to backup my audio/video/data into a dvd+rw disc.i also wanted the files like audio and video to be played on my dvd player exclude the data files thou.I include the error prompt and nero 6 cd info.
