  1. Would be nice to have one single storage with all updates on the net or on the usb drive, and client running on the number of pc's with access to updates storage showing me, what to be installed (updates not installed on the system by now) on every single system. And, it would be great to have WUD installing the selected not installed updates using GUI and command line.
  2. Yes, it would be great! And we can double benefit from this... Not only download not installed updates, but to SHOW them in the list. I'd like to have one single storage with all updates on the net or on the usb drive, and client running on the number of pc's with access to updates storage showing me, what to be installed on every single system. 3. By now I've found some thing to try about partial/full LIP localization problem: 1. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/883921 2. http://www.elnics.com/soft/WinXP_BG/ , take a look at http://www.elnics.com/soft/WinXP_BG/OEMReadme.txt section "INSTALLING LANGUAGE INTERFACE PACK IN A PRE-INSTALL ENVIRONMENT". I'll try them both this week. Good luck!
  4. mironis - it seems that something wrong with our LIP setups. I've tried to install the newest LIPSTEUP.MSI for Lithuanian on Windows XP Eng SP2+hotfixes in both ways - normal and silent (msiexec /i lipsetup.msi /qn. And the result was identical!! UI translated identically "not full". So, the good news - it is possible and easy to integrate LIP into win installation. Bad new - somthing wrong with LIP. So, the result depends on us. mironis - please, do some tests with your latvian LIP. Try to install it ordinary way by double clicking the lipsetup.msi, check translation result, uninstall it and then do the same in silent mode (just run this command in the lipsetup directory "msiexec /i lipsetup.msi /qn") and check translation results again. Post comparisons here. If something will go wrong PM me, you can use russian.
  5. The same problem with Lithuanian LIP. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=73423 ZcWorld - thanks for trying! If it is possible, please, post what should be edited in MSI package? I'll try to patch lithuanian LIP by myself.
  6. No chance to integrate LIP... But is it possible to convert LIP installation into nLite add-on and auto-install it this way? I just need a result - WinXP box localized by LIP just after unattended installation.
