Windows Vista
When you are running 4Gb of ram or more in xp you need to use remapping in order to utilize all of your ram. This is not needed in vista, and in my case caused some install problems.

Are you remapping your ram? I have found that vista does not like these settings turned on. You may want to take a look in your bios.
