  1. That's because the board upgrade broke the front page and we need to fix it. The forums still work fine, so that's why it redirects to the board. Another one of our administrators, Jase, is planning a redesign to the main page, so it should be back soon.
  2. I've decided I'll be upgrading us to IPB 2.2 within the next few days (I wanted to wait until we got a new license, but I suppose we're able to keep using the current one we have for a while longer ). I'll be reinstalling our modifications, but I'm leaving updating the skins to someone else since I don't know much about skins. Unless anyone here is familiar enough with IPB skinning and would be willing to help, we'll be (temporarily) using "professional" skins from IPS Beyond with the main logos edited as necessary. Thank you.
  3. We've had that size problem regarding the sidebar brought up before. If you're referring to one for the main page, we plan to remove it in favor for a different design. Regarding the Naro network, it has it's own websites separate from the forums. You can find them here: http://www.naronet.net http://blog.naronet.net And Jase sometimes posts updates on his blog here - http://www.jeayese.com Otherwise there are sections in the forums all about the various programs in the suite, including a section where members can contribute their concepts and designs. Speaking of, we are currently looking for coders and programmers. Again, thanks for the criticism and feedback. We appreciate any thoughts for improvement.
  4. Yes, that's one of my sites. We've got plans and ideas for some changes after the new year. We're currently hiring news posters. As Slimy all ready mentioned, I think our way of being unique is the Naro network and suite run by Jase, so once that progresses it should be a very good thing. The site recently got new ownership, and with the help of the newest admin we'll hopefully soon have some big things happening. A redesign of the main front page is scheduled, along with an IRC flash client and a new skin for the forums. It is still undecided upon whether or not we'll make the upgrade to IPB 2.2 or not (mostly due to the change in new ownership also causing us to need to purchase a new license; we're not sure at this time if we can afford it). I'll let the rest of the staff know of your help, Slimy, and maybe they'll help introduce us better.
  5. Hi, I am new. My name's Ryan. I hope this is allowed here. My friend Thomas and I have shared this at over 30 boards and only two deleted it so far as far as we know. We have permissions to do what we do, so there is no need to be concerned about legal matters. I'd like to share the famous big collection of default Microsoft (Windows), Apple (Mac), Linux, and OEM wallpaper backgrounds that my friend (Thomas) and I spread to many boards. We've been doing this for so long and it gets appreciated where ever it goes. We'll make future updates in the form of ImageShack uploads and post the thumbnails linking to the original sizes of the wallpapers, and also post updated RAR links. We also have galleries for quicker and easier viewing. This is our way of contributing immediately after joining any community we go to. It will definitely bring many searchers; just keep an eye on the topic views back out in the forum. I guarentee from past experiences this will bring you many new visitors and hits. I will try to invite Thomas and maybe he will drop on by later to say some more meet & greet. We ask that, if you do wish to, please feel free, however, we do want some form of recognition for doing the work. Something along the lines of "Created and maintained by Ryan & Thomas" would be sufficient. Also, we ask that you PM us the link, send us a board email, or post the link here after you have done so. This way, we can know just how far our project is spreading. Thanks for the appreciation, the contributions, and the support you've all given us. We're always on the hunt for more, so please, if you have something you don't think is in our list, feel free to share, and we'll be glad to include it. Thanks again, and happy downloading! Indeed, Thomas does help me with this project of ours. When updates come about, he'll likely be the one to post them. We hope this contribution will be enjoyed here as much as it is at other places around the web. We try to bring new material at least once a month, but it varies, sometimes more sometimes less. Enjoy it in any case, and if you have something that you feel we should include, please feel free to share. Thanks, and enjoy! These wallpapers are not created by us, they are what comes by default with the versions of Windows, Mac OSX, various Linux distros, and the many OEM computer distributors. We collect them as a hobby though, yes.
