  1. I was hoping someone could lend a hand; I am trying to use the royale theme with a different desktop and have it show up as the default theme on boot and when a new user is added...I have tried every combination that I can think of. I have been inserting the signed MS theme package and wondered if there is a way to edit it so the "energyBliss" background could be changed? any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  2. it was a driver....weird though, I could import it into 1.21 but none of the newer versions of nlite...oh well it's working now
  3. I tried again with the new 1.3 RC2 and got the same error...looks like I'm heading back to 1.21 again.
  4. I uninstalled the newest version and went back to the v1.21 final ...worked fine.

    Error R6025

I am getting Error R6025 - pure virtual function call for nlite.exe, is this a bug? I haven't added/changed any of my addons...
  6. Try and reburn your iso at a slower spin rate (ie 8x instead of 32x) If you have a older machine/CDROM it might not be reading the disk correctly. happened to me a few times.
  7. I had both in there and it still came up ; I will try with the oobe removed
  8. It is showing OemSkipWelcome=1 but not the AutoLogon="Yes" so I am going to try it with the autologon there...should work ; if not I will be back; Thanks for the help!!!
  9. When I create an nlite disk I get the welcome to windows screens where it wants you to configure the internet and register windows now, is there a way to not get this? I am not trying to bypass anything from MS just not get it right after install. I have created many nlite disks with a different xp cd and never got this, so it's gotta be the source disk. Thanks in advance!
  10. I am interested in automating my backups getting copied back to windows. Can anyone give me a few steps in creating sfx backups of some files so I can add them into Nlite disk to automatically run and get copied to misc foldersduring install? I would assume it is very similar to just creating an add-on....I just don't know the steps. Has anyone used this procedure to recover backed up information? ...Or gotten an exe (sfx) files to automatically copy files to certain places on their hard drives? I think this would be a great addon to Nlite...being able to add files back into the install during setup. Any help would be greatly appreciated! (for example: running single .exe file and having it copy files back to one or more folders, replacing any exsisting and thereby recovering data and settings. (folders like Application Data and Program Files) just a thought; after a fresh install It seems I copy and paste a lot of the same things....could be automated.
