Hi All, I've not played with RIPrep yet but I thought I'd get some feedback on my intended plans. What I'd like to do is build the OS using RIS and automatically join the machine under a specific Domain OU which will then take care of installing applications and running WSUS updates etc. By doing so the installed applications become manageable within AD and a list of hotfixes etc. will be available from the Add/Remove utility. I then want to prepare this image for cloning. One of the requirements I have is that the cloned system must not have any Domain Affiliation (ie. standalone). Would it be better to use RIPrep and build out another image or go straight to sysprep for cloning? Can either of these allow me to remove the computer from the Domain? Thoughts? Cheers, Neil
