I want to remove everything that is not completely necessary to my install. I'm not planning on changing any of my hardware for a long time,and then I could just make a new xp disk if needed. I want to know two things. I backed up every driver for everything I have installed; where can I put those on the install folder so that those are installed in their correct folders? To clarify, say I copied a driver from c:\windows\system32\drivers, where could I put that on the cd i'm making so that it would be installed in the same location when I do a fresh install. My second question is that I want to make the iso as small as possible; I see that the I386 folder is big. There are almost 3000 files in it, all with underscores after the filename. Again, I only want on this iso what is absolutely necessary. What would be safe to remove from this? Is there a list of everything that might be in my I386 folder and what they are needed for? If there is any other information that I can provide that would help you in assisting me, please ask. Thank you in advance for any help.
