I want to thank everyone for their suggestions. I actually stumbled upon the solution when trying a previous suggestion. I had to login into the Thin Client as administrator to implement the suggestion and for giggles I tried the application and it worked. I quickly logged into the Thin Client as a user and the app still didn't work. Logged in as admin again, and it worked. So I took a look at how the drive was mapped and notice that the user profile's was mapped to the \\localsrv.domain.xxx\share (why, I don't know) and that the admin mapped drive was pointing to \\localsrv\share and this worked. So I changed the users mapped drive to look like the admin's, saved the change, pulled a new image, and now I'm all set. Thnx, Boggsy

I've installed an application on a Wyse Thin Client running XPe SP2. The shortcut on the desktop points to a shared location on our network with a mapped drive (K:\localsrv\share). Every time the user clicks on the shortcut they're presented with and Open File Security Warning dialog box stating that it's an unknown publisher with the no digital signature. If the user clicks "Run", the application runs as expected. I obviously want to eliminate the users to have to click "Run" every time they want to use the application. From Googling this issue, I've come across some possible solutions 1) Go into group policies and find the attachment manager and allow .exe's for inclusion of low file types. Unfortunately, XPe does not offer that option in group policies 2) Possibly add the \\localsrv\share to trusted sites in IE. Every time I try to do that, I get an error that I've entered an illegal pattern when I followed their valid patterns correctly. If there's a fix for that maybe can move forward. 3) I've read that you can't disable this warning, but there must be a work around somewhere. Does anyone know of a way to alleviate this problem.
