  1. I haven't found a good answer for this yet. If I use Integrator everything copies and has the appearance of the original disk. With PowerPacker 1.0RC8 it is all different and I can't find the $oem$ or Value Added files. Is this normal? I don't care about the Dell support junk or Value Added Stuff. Just concerned that something needed may be missing. The disk does load unattended, I havent tried the attended option yet. I just discovered PowerPacker a short time ago and have mainly used Integrator. Joe
  2. I've got a question about using the setup manager for XP Home to make a WINNT.SIF FILE. I've got a Dell Dimentins 8200 and there is a sticker on the tower with a code. Using a key finder shows another, it is also in the sample WINNT.SIF file on the cd. Which one do you use? Joe

I see a lot of OEM XP software for sale on ebay. Are these legal copies? How big of a hassle is to get it activated by phone? Does it have to be activated by phone each time you reinstall on the same machine? I understand that it can only be used on one machine. I've got an online friend who's only income is social security disability. One of his "friends" fixed up a cracked copy for him and it has a lot of problems. Getting $200 for a retail version is quite difficult for him. I was thinking about getting a copy for him and let him pay me of a little at a time. Joe
