Pity with KB943452 but no problem, I'll add it manually. Yes, it's strange with Chained Install. Now I have slipstreamed/installed Office twice with same result; the patch is added to ChainedInstall_1 but not installed. When I was doing these tests I noticed that the "Admin install location" is remembered by the Slipstreamer but not always the "Product Key" when ticked. Cheers

Hi Mara Tested v1.5 Final. Two error occurences: - The Registry update for KB943452 is wrong for the Swedish edition of Office 2003. The slipstreamer updates with ...\Patches\F6900B7701894B74297DE043C1A5E5EC] Should be ...\Patches\D78E1F6C1E3F478479CE8FD7BAD68687] - Chained Install didn't work. The Patch (Compatibility patch for Office 2007) was added to folder \FILES\SEUP\ChainedInstall_1 correctly. This can also be seen in the log but the the patch wasn't installed directly after Office. This worked in v1.5 beta4. Otherwise everything was perfect. Attaching a new swedish translation based on v1.5 Final. Cheers swedish.rar

Hi Mara Tested v1.5 beta 4: - Slipstreamed SP3 and hotfixes - Integrated one patch with chained install - Created new .MST for unattended install - Installed unattended Office - Checked with MS Update Everything went very good except for one thing: One character is wrong in the hotfix registry updates: Currently it the Slipstreamer updates with: ...\Products\D140110D00063D11C8EF10054038389C\... Should be ...\Products\D140110900063D11C8EF10054038389C\... Attaching the registry entries for Swedish Enterprise edition (suppose you have them since before). Attaching an updated Swedish translation for v1.5 beta4. Note that there are some minor cosmetic things that should be corrected for the translation support. - Under File (main) there is an option, Delete log History, which is hardcoded I guess. It is not in the language file. - Under Options and Help there are other options not represented in the language file. - Field Product Informations is represented in the language file (L123) but showed in English after translation. - Same with Edition Type (L122). - Tried to change my translation of L76 but the old text is still showed. When slipstreaming SP1 with 1.1.6b: How to handle the SP1 prerequisites KB937287, KB938371 (and KB935509)? Is there any problem or can they be applied after the SP1 slipstream stage?

Yes, LCID 1053 was entered. Both Windows and Office are Swedish editions, MUI is not used. It is nice to assist you, no problem. Hotfixes.reg is attached. hotfixes.rar

Yes, the reason for the popups was that the hotfixes was "Blocked". After Unblock of all hotfixes I got no popups. Also the ChainedInstall patch was Blocked but after unblock the result is the same; Not integrated. Sorry for misleading you about the registry entries; I wrote wrong. But note that the entries are still missing. Cheers

Mara To me it looked as the ChainedInstalled failed because I couldn't see anything of it. Nothing on the screen or in the log. When the slipstreaming was finished the path to the patch was still filled in the ChainedInstall pane. For SP3 and hotfixes the paths was blanked. After the Office re-install I ran the patch manually with no complains that it was already applied. As you can see in the attached log file there is an entry for ChainedInstall. Document with the popup is attached. Another thing that I noticed before: No registry entries have been added for the hotfixes. At least not in the regular place: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products\hotfix SETUPPRO.rar Run_this_file.rar

Feedback for Beta 3: - The Slipstreaming was very smooth and succesful except that ChainedInstall didn't succedd. No trace att all on screen or in log. The log is attached. I also got one popup per hotfix ("Do you want to run this file") but maybe this is your intention. - Created new .MST file with the output from the slipstreaming; No problem. - Re-installed Office (Unattended installation); No problem. I'm trying to do an unattended office installation using the slipstreamer output but it fails. The problem seems to be to pass the variables from setup_h.exe to setuppro.exe ( TRANSFORMS="C:\Office2003\Unattended.MST" /qb- ). Is the support for unattended installation there now or will it be supported in a later release? cheers

Hi Mara- and thanks for a very good program. Could you please confirm following: When adapting Autorun.inf I noticed that only the 1st entry was changed from setuppro.exe to setup_h.exe, the rest of the entries are still showing setuppro.exe. I guess it's correct meaning that setuppro is not fully replaced by setup_h.exe? When starting an office installation I execute setup_h.exe and setuppro.exe will be invoked as a later step? Cheers

Hi and thanks for a great product. Currently I have 1.2b installed and have noticed a small problem in at least the latest releases and I suppose it remains in 1.2RC: When removing applications such as pinball, games etc. the changes are not reflected in sysoc.inf. The result is error popups when trying to enter Window Components through (control panel -> add/remove programs -> add/remove Windows components). It's easy to handle this manually by deleting each corresponding statement in sysoc.inf for each application that have been removed but to make a great product even greater it would be nice if this could be fixed in nLite. Thanks in advance for all replies.
