I guess I'll have to wait for the next major release then...When I install winamp from the Nullsoft installer from their website everything is fine with the plugin...it doesn't create the folder, but when I use the .msi from here it still does.

Nobody else gets the creation of "My Music" when using the .msi?

I'm still getting the issue with winamp creating "My Music" folder in My Documents. It should be fixed with 5.111, and in fact it works fine with the install from nullsoft but not the silent msi from this thread. Anybody else getting that also?

I think I've figured the launch condition out. I used AdminStudio, tutorial on how to open msi files from this topic After opening the msi file, at the bottom of the page there is a "Direct Editor" under the Additional Tools tree. If you highlight that you can scroll down in the middle pane to LaunchCondition. You can remove the table from msi and save the file. I haven't tried it with the ini file but using the msi file it installed fine.

How can I do that? Or could you post a link? Thanks.

Thanks BTS, but there's no [sourceDisksFiles] in SonyPVP1.inf. I think it uses the DeleteReg.exe InstallDLL.exe to copy the files to the appropriate location. I'll just stick with the silent msi install.

I'm trying to use my sony camera driver with the rest of my drivers in OemPnPDriversPath. I've got the files extracted by running the installshield and getting all the files out of the temp directory it uses. But I don't have a sys file. Here's a list: _IsRes.dll default.pal DeleteReg.exe InstallDLL.exe isrt.dll setup.inx SonyPVP1.inf UninstallDLL.exe value.shl Anybody know how I can do this?

Has anyone had problems installing this with VMWare? I have set up a virtual drive with 8 GB and have all the settings recommended in the unattended guide but when I try to install it asks which partition to install to and doesn't give me any choices to click on. Anyone else have that problem?

I've tried using RegShot to find it but to no avail. Anyone have any ideas?

Well I figured out that I was just being stupid. I can take the XP cd out of the drive and WFP will let the files be deleted. Thanks for all the replies.

It didn't work, screen savers still there. I will still try RyanVM's suggestion but I really don't want a popup for inserting the cd just because I'm anal retentive and want to delete unused screen savers. Thanks for the replies guys.

I am using a .cmd file to delete some files, mainly bitmaps and screen savers. This is in my cleanup.cmd and created using the example file in the unattended guide. The bitmaps that are deleted stay deleted but the screen savers keep coming back after the script is run. Are they protected by windows file protection? Do I need to turn it off, delete the files and turn it back on? How can I do this?
